7.3L POWERSTROKE DIESEL & GM DURAMAX 6600 RODS
Crower has been making top-end, high performance connecting rods for more than 25 years.
We have the experience and state-of-the-art technology to build some of the highest quality
and most reliable rods on the market. Our steel billet connecting rods feature only the finest
USA-made proprietory steel, which is CNC-machined to remove all surface imperfections.
They are 100 percent magnaflux-inspected, checked for surface hardness, and then machined
to final size to exacting tolerances within 1/1,000 of an inch. Each set of rods is fully balanced
and then shot-peened to achieve the ultimate in strength and durability. Other features include:
Drilled and chamfered wrist-pin oil holes on each rod for additional oiling, to prevent galling;
deep, double-ribbed caps for superior strength at high rpm; and a hollow-dowel alignment
fastening system for positive cap alignment. The rods are available in I-beam models with
either premium H-11 tool-steel rod bolts (7/16"; 220,000 psi) or AMS5844 (7/16"; 280,000 psi)
bolts as upgrades. They can also be ordered with a special, pressure-fed oiling hole from the
big end to the pin end of each rod, for pressurized wrist-pin oiling. Custom Lengths also available
and fully machined in San Diego.

429/460 Ford Billet Crankshaft
Crower's 429/460 Ford Billet Crankshafts feature straight-shot oiling, jumbo 1/8 radii, heattreating,
tear-drop oil holes, "counterweight-correct" designs and CNC detailing. Four
lightening holes come standard and are also available with or without center counterweights.
These 4340 Billet Cranks come in 4.250" (95197C) and 4.500" (95198C) stroke
but custom billet cranks are also available! Both Are In-Stock and Available For Immediate
Delivery!

Beehive Valve Springs
Beehive valve springs have been known in the industry as having a lower mass at the
retainer end thus allowing for better valve control. This is only partially the reason for the
better valve control. Beehive valve springs are unique when it comes to coil spacing, rate
control, and also using a MA wire cross section. Beehive springs benefit from utilizing
ovate shaped wire. This wire more effectively distributes the stress over the entire
wire area allowing for more complexity within the spring improving the fatigue life of the

Currently the two-valve and four-valve cores are available. These are premium steel billet cam
cores, not regrinds of factory cores, and allow for unlimited specs without any reduction in factory base circle. |

NEEDLE BEARING ROLLER TIP OPTION
Crower has raised the bar on valve train technology with a new needle
bearing roller tip option available on all new Crower stud and shaft mount
rocker arm assemblies. Results are greatly reduced friction for added
horsepower and reduced valve guide and valve stem wear. The lighter tip
delivers greater valve control for increased rpm and improves valve spring
longevity by decreasing heat over traditional non needle designs. Specify
#73715R option for stainless steel (stud or shaft) or #72915R option for
aluminum (stud or shaft) when ordering rocker arms. Cost is $199.50
additional per set of 16. |

Crower's New B series VTEC Race Core
Crower is pleased to introduce a new high performance core for the twin cam
B series VTEC engine platform. This new core features bigger secondary and
primary lobes for unlimited spec and the ability to run outer lobes only,
grinding away the mid lobe. The fact that Crower grinds the cams in house
gives you the opportunity to mix and match profiles for your particular
application. Other possibilities are bigger idle lobes for increased
performance on the bottom end, through the switchover point and beyond
10,000 rpm on the big mid lobe. This core is for serious race applications.

ECONO BILLET
Crower has introduced a new budget connecting rod for the popular
Honda/Acura applications. Intended for all-motor and low boost applications,
the "Econo Billet" is a lightweight (470 grams for B18C) alternative to
shot-peened factory rods. Available in H-beam design only, this rod is made
in China (like the Eagle) from 4340 steel billet material BUT finished
in-house at Crower under Crower's rigorous quality control standards. Prices
start at $398 for the set of four rods. For severe-duty applications, the
smart choice is the original Crower rod...100% made in the USA and built to
handle unlimited power adders and extended rpm.
